Cyber Sport Pty Ltd. Acquires Flexiglow 5th February 2008

Sydney, Australia – 5th February 2008 - Cyber Sport Pty Ltd, an Australian development studio, has purchased Flexiglow Hong Kong and subsidiary business Cyber Snipa. The merger heralds a shift to a more diverse business; growing from the gaming niche to an all encompassing approach to entertainment electronics.

Cyber Sport is an Australian owned technology development studio focused and perfectly positioned in providing innovative high end consumer electronic products to the global market. The team of young engineers and industrial designers based in Sydney, along with manufacturing capabilities in China and both the US and EU based offices, means Cyber Sport can offer premium products internationally at the best prices. In addition, Cyber Sport can expect accelerated growth and has started funding high end product developments and marketing campaigns thanks to private equity investment from an American venture capital firm.

There are already some major developments taking place at the Cyber Sport offices with new products, whole products ranges and initiatives close to release. One such development is the new range of PC accessories designed for women called Siren. The Siren range will initially encompass a PC mouse, mouse pad and keyboard which are designed in a very unique, fashionable style and under ergonomic guidelines. Siren products are all about lifestyle and expressing individuality.

Cyber Sport is also currently engineering the Orbita, a revolutionary new mouse like no other. The Orbita mouse is the world's first wireless 3-axis mouse combining rotation or 'jog wheel' input with normal mouse control. This allows true 3D control of any 3D applications and jog control of audio video programs. The Orbita is made for Audio/Visual editors, those who want to improve their gaming experience and for everybody who is looking for a more ergonomic mouse for general applications.

Perhaps most importantly, Cyber Sport is establishing the Green Gamer Initiative in conjunction with the release of a new line of power supplies called GAMEPWR. For each GAMEPWR PSU which is bought and registered, Cyber Sport will purchase $5 of GACs (Greenhouse Abatement Credits). The PSUs will initially come as a 600W, 850W and 1000W model. GAMEPWR PSU’s are premium quality, highly specified and have a high efficiency rating (80 PLUS certified) which means less wasted energy.

Of course the existing brands Flexiglow, well known for the wide modding range and the PC Gaming specialist Cyber Snipa will remain and come up with new exciting products soon.

Cyber Snipa Scout Wins Independent Webcam Test 7th February 2007

The independent review website Choice.com.au recently reviewed a selection of 18 webcams in order to determine which is the best buy and the results are back - the Cyber Snipa Scout topped the lot. Webcams tested included popular models from Creative, Logitech, Microsoft, V-Gear, AV Labs and of course, Cyber Snipa.

The webcams were assessed for two factors; performance and ease of use. Performance was measured by evaluating brightness, color balance, contrast and sound quality whilst ease of use was inferred from setting up, focusing and adjusting the webcams.

Performance testing procedures were widely varied, to ensure accurate results. Testing was comprised of taking snapshots and video recordings, of 10 and 20 seconds length, at both 15 and 30 frames per second in a variety of lighting conditions with the amount of frames 'dropped' being assessed by a panel of experts.

The Choice report concluded that a higher price tag doesn't mean a better product; more often than not just a bunch of extra features, most of which can be gained from software available for free on the web. The Scout webcam is testament to this fact, aside from topping the other 17 webcams in terms of final scores, the Scout webcam is also one of the most affordable at $50, almost half the price of the second place Microsoft webcam (LifeCam VX-3000) at $99.95 and two thirds of the cost of the third place Creative webcam (Creative WebCam Instant Skype) at $75.

Cyber Snipa CEO Daniel Voros was delighted to learn of the Scout's success but not surprised. Mr Voros declared "This win is a vindication of Cyber Snipa products as a whole. Cyber Snipa's streamlined business structure, and close ties with customer and manufacturers alike, ensures we are motivated and able to provide our customers with the highest quality products, tailored to meet the specific needs of high performance gaming".

Cyber Snipa Launches EU Online Store 27th January 2007

Cyber Snipa is set to expand its influence in Europe with the launch of the EU Online Store. Cyber Snipa's market share increases and it allows us to better serve our customers by providing an easier way to order our products, faster delivery of our products and the best pricing that can be found in the European market".

Cyber Snipa S.W.A.T. Gaming Mouse Released Worldwide & Voted King of the Peripherals 25th January 2007

To coincide with the retail release of the long anticipated S.W.A.T. Gaming Mouse, a 5 man panel made up of gamers convened to determine which mouse should take home the gold medalˇand the S.W.A.T. came up trumps. Voted as the best gaming mouse on the market, the new S.W.A.T. Mouse has surpassed expectations and set the bar even higher than envisaged. Members of RoM, one of the top BF2 Esports teams in North America, have eagerly endorsed the S.W.A.T. Mouse, with Burt Flaxton, leader of RoM, nominating it as the "best Mouse I've ever had the pleasure to use".

The panel forecasts that the S.W.A.T. Mouse will take its rightful place as Mouse of the Year, besting the offerings made by competitors Logitech and Razer. A statement taken from Cyber Snipa CEO Daniel Voros seem to corroborate the S.W.A.T.'s popularity; he confirmed extremely high demand for the Mouse even at this early stage and predicted "a likely shortage of S.W.A.T. Mice in the short term, based on the huge quantities of pre-orders that have been made".

Not a clan or a team, but a gaming community!

Their gaming community has always been known by the public as RoM, it was a tag that they played with since the early 2002 days of BF1942 and have stayed loyal to since then. Their community is centered on a few highly skilled gamers playing multiple games, who have rightly earned themselves the reputation of being frag machines. The flood of broken, bloodied teams left behind in gaming competitions attest to their skill.

Not only are RoM's member's big names in competitions, quite a few of them have a lot more to do with gaming than just playing the games themselves. Travis "Burt Flaxton" Harshaw, co-founder of RoM, is the head writer for BF2 at GotFrag and Game Manager for BF2 at CGESports. Jay "kMouser" Messer, a long-time community member was co-host of the" The Commanders Report" at EGLN and has written for Amped, InviteGamer, and now CGESports. Dipak "Batman" Patel is Co-Captain of the official USA international team along with USA team members Elliot "Impreza" Carvell and Burt Flaxton.
